N. D. Victor Carsrud
MD, PhD, DC, MBBS, MS, MS, DABCI, DCBCN
Dr. Carsrud is a nationally recognized speaker in the field of functional nutrition, with a multidisciplinary clinical practice in Austin, Texas focusing on a Cause-Oriented approach to preventive and integrative care. After beginning his career in gene therapy research at UTMB in Galveston, he moved into Functional Medicine and earned his degree from Texas Chiropractic College, followed by Board Certifications with the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (ABCI) and the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition (CBCN). Dr. Carsrud then earned his MD and MBBS concurrently with his clinical practice, and completed a PhD with a dissertation focusing on nutritional endocrinology. He is the Associated Editor for the Independent Global Medical Researchers Consortium, and has published over 60 peer reviewed articles across fields of medicine ranging from nutrition to surgery. Dr. Carsrud sits as a Medical Consultant for NutraDiagnostics laboratories and is an Opinion Leader for NuMedica Corporation, sits as a Board member for the ACA-CDID College of Pharmacology and Toxicology, and the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition.

Robert Kessinger
DC, DABCI, DACBN
Robert Kessinger, DC, DABCI, DACBN, is a board-certified chiropractic internist and board certified in clinical nutrition. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1988. He is an instructor in ACA’s Chiropractic Internist Board Certification program and a clinical neurology instructor with the ICA’s Upper Cervical Board Certification program. Dr. Kessinger is a frequent guest speaker at various conferences and has been published numerous times in various journals. He is the 2022 recipient of “Professional of the Year” award from the ACA Council on Nutrition and the 2022 recipient of “Upper Cervical Doctor of the Year” award from the ICA’s Upper Cervical Council. He maintains a chiropractic internist practice in Rolla, Missouri.

Greer McGuinness
MS, RD
Greer McGuinness holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Detox Specialist, Certified Master Herbalist, Certified Lyme Specialist, and a Certified Mental Health Specialist. Based in New York, she is the proud owner of Biomedical Healing for Kids, a virtual Private Practice.
A dedicated professional, Greer has made significant contributions to the field of pediatric health. Her expertise lies in detoxifying toxins, enhancing gut health, and optimizing nutrient status. As a published researcher, she has focused on Autism and alternative medicine, showcasing her commitment to exploring innovative approaches to healthcare.
Greer is a trailblazer in her field, having developed the pioneering Detoxing Toxins in Pediatrics course. Through her Rebalance Roadmap, she empowers parents and healthcare providers to safely and effectively detoxify toxins in children. By incorporating biomedical testing and integrative treatments, she aims to facilitate the advancement of children's developmental abilities, enabling them to lead active and healthier lives. Beth Merz
LPC, LCPC, MT-BC
Beth Merz is a licensed professional in the field of mental health, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her work. Currently serving as a child and family therapist at Abella Psychotherapy and Consulting, LLC, Beth has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental wellbeing. Operating a private practice and working in various non-profit organizations, she has provided support to children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Holding two counseling licenses and a board certification in music therapy, she brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives to her practice. In addition to her clinical work, Beth has been an Adjunct Professor for two large universities and takes pleasure in sharing her knowledge and insights through training sessions and presentations conducted across the country.

Steven Noseworthy
DC, DACNB, DCCN, BSc (Hon), BComm (Hon)
As one of the most requested speakers on the Apex speaking circuit,
Dr. Noseworthy is able to communicate complex clinical concepts in simple-to-
understand terms.
After earning his bachelor of science degrees in human biology and business
administration (marketing), Dr. Noseworthy earned his doctorate in chiropractic
medicine with honors from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1995. In that same
year, he also earned designation as a board-certified chiropractic neurologist.
From 1997 to 2007, Dr. Noseworthy served as a practicing chiropractor and
clinical director of a multidisciplinary clinic in south Florida that included a team of
healthcare practitioners in the chiropractic, allopathic, naturopathic, and Oriental
medicine fields.
Upon opening his solo practice in 2007, Dr. Noseworthy blended brain-based spinal
rehab with Functional Medicine. In 2008, his practice became fully focused on
Functional Medicine, which continues to impact his clinical approach today. He has
also developed and taught an online brain and nutrition course for the post-doctoral
department of the Maryland University of Integrative Health.

Scott Sherr
MD
Dr. Scott Sherr is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician Certified to Practice Health Optimization Medicine (HOMe) and a specialist in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
He is the founder of HOMe-SF, the first HOMe clinic in the United States, and is the Chief Operating Officer of Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe)–USA, a nonprofit education company training doctors and healthcare practitioners how to detect and correct the root causes of health, not disease.
In addition, Dr. Scott is also the COO of Smarter Not Harder, the for-profit arm of HOMeHOPe. SNH is the company behind Troscriptions, a line of precision dosed buccal troches that are Democratizing Enlightenment by addressing the bottlenecks along the path to optimal health. They have four products on the market now including Blue Cannatine, Just Blue, Tro+ Blue, Tro Calm, and Tro Zzz

Robert Smith
DC, DABCI
Robert “Bob” Smith, DC DABCI is a graduate of Logan 1984 and earned his DABCI certification 1991. After a short sabbatical, in 2023 he joined, as chiropractic internist, a multidisciplinary healthcare group Louisiana Healthcare Solutions. He also continues to consult with his functional health patients from his private practice.
He has experience with patients who have long histories of chronic pain (including RSD and post herpetic neuralgia) and mental illness (including depression and schizophrenia). Dr. Smith has spent a great deal of time, trying to understand the mechanisms involved in the connections, leading to and from central sensitization. He believes these phenomena have a central locus in the mitochondria.
These patients subsequently led to his study of, not only primary mitochondrial dysfunction, but the parsimony directing nature of the connections to health and diseases by the co-evolutionary phenomenon of acquired mitochondrial dysfunction. Conjugation adaption on a cellular level of communication at its origin. Dr. Smith has kept his promise to his mentor to keep on trying to find the connections. Health at its origins of multicellular organism development.
Matt Zaideman
DC, CFMP, FIBFN-CND
Dr. Zaideman has been practicing since 2012 and is owner of North Florida Spine and Wellness in Tallahassee, FL . He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida State University and then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and also a Fellow of the International Board of Functional Neurology in Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders. He also has completed over 300 hours towards his American Clinical Board of Nutrition Diplomate (DACBN) and is currently enrolled in the Chiropractic Internist Diplomate (DABCI).
Dr. Zaideman has a special clinical interest in Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and other childhood developmental disorders as well as anxiety, TBI and balance disorders. He focuses his treatment on the interaction between physiology and neurology for a holistic mind and body approach.
Dr. Zaideman is a third generation Floridian who in his free time enjoys Florida State athletics and spending time with his wife Kristin and two children Jakob and Dylan.
